The commencement of N5 SEstablished in 2020, PT Satelit Nusantara Lima (SNL) is an affiliated company within PSN Group which focus on the satellite development, operation, service & maintenance of Nusantara Lima (N5) Satellite.

Satellite’s development in 2021 also elevated PSN Group’s strategic policy in supporting PSN Group’s goal in providing widely accessible internet throughout not only for Indonesia but also for the ASEAN region.

The N5 Satellite has a capacity of more than 160 Gbps, which will provide primary satellite service in Indonesia and selected ASEAN countries.

The satellite has 7 (seven) gateways in several cities in the regions of Indonesia, including Banda Aceh, Bengkulu, Cikarang, Gresik, Banjarmasin, Tarakan and Kupang.

It also planned 3 gateways outside of Indonesia, namely Hong Kong, Cyber Jaya (Malaysia),and Subic Bay (Philippines).

N5 Satellite is a geostationary communication satellite (GEO) owned by Satelit Nusantara Lima (SNL), an affiliated company within PSN Group.

N5 Satellite has the biggest capacity available in South East Asia which uses Very High Throughput Satellite (VHTS) technology with a greater bandwidth capacity to provide broadband access service coverage to Indonesia and selected ASEAN regions, namely Philippines and Malaysia.

Equipped with Xenon-lon Propulsion System (XIPS) that is 10 times more efficient than conventional satellites, it has the ability of maximize payload exibility throughout 101 total spot beams.

By accelerating the development of digital transformation through connectivity, N5 Satellite will provide inclusivity and connectivity not just within the nation, but also to the neighboring countries in ASEAN.
