Satelit Nusantara Lima (SNL) is an Indonesian satellite service provider company established in 2021. SNL is developing a satellite system called Nusantara Lima (N5) satellite. The N5 satellite will be placed above the equator at 113 east longitudes.
The N5 satellite is being built by Boeing using 702MP VHTS (Very High Throughput Satellite) technology with an estimated capacity of 160 Gbps and coverage over Southeast Asia region. The N5 satellite is expected to be ready for service at the Q4 2023, with launch schedule at Q2 2023 using SpaceX’s Falcon 9 rocket launcher.
